Speed Monitor
SAFEONE DN3PD2
The SAFEONE DN3PD2 is a safety switching device for sensorless speed monitoring of three-phase and single-phase motors. Speed is detected by measuring the frequency of the motor's effective rotating field. The module is parameterized using the intuitive GO:BEYOND software and meets the certified performance level e or SIL 3.

Typical applications
- Automotive industry: When machining aluminium chassis components or plastic interior components, it is important to use the correct speed setting to ensure the parts are of high quality and durable.
- Metalworking: When machining metals such as aluminium, titanium or stainless steel at high speeds, it is important to ensure that the machines do not exceed their rotational speed limits. This is the only way to ensure optimal machining quality and prevent damage to tools and workpieces.
- Baking: Excessively slow speeds on baking lines must be avoided, as these can cause fires within the heating section.
