Phase monitor
SAFEONE DN3PW
The phase monitors reliably monitor the supply voltage in three-phase networks. The SAFEONE DN3PW2 is designed for safety-related applications, while the SAFEONE DN3PW1 is suitable for non-safety-related applications.
Your advantages at a glance.
Unique on the market
The SAFEONE DN3PW2 is the first series-ready, separate safety switching device for safe phase monitoring.
Easy diagnosis and compact protection
The device enables easy diagnostics via LED indicators and offers compact protection against the consequences of power supply disturbances.
Detection of phase fluctuations
The SAFEONE DN3PW2 detects the most important phase faults such as phase failure, asymmetry, and under- and overvoltage.
Adjustable response time
The response time of the phase monitor can be set individually.
Adaptable to any grid situation
The reference voltage can be flexibly adapted to any grid situation: teach for grids with strong voltage fluctuations or 400V fixed for stable grids.

Application
In production lines with electric overhead conveyors (EOC), the safe phase monitor specifically monitors conductor rails. If a rail is switched off, the device detects this and thus enables the controlled shutdown of a system.
For drives that can feed energy back into the grid (e.g., during braking), the phase monitor ensures that energy is only fed in when the supply voltage is correct, complete, and stable.
Phase Monitor SAFEONE DN3PW1
The SAFEONE DN3PW1 monitors the three phases of the supply voltage of electrical systems or system components for phase relationship and voltage values. In the event of a fault, it reacts within at least ten milliseconds. The switching device is not intended for safety-related applications.

Contact service life
Electrical life of the output contacts according to DIN EN 60947-5-1/ Appendix C.3

Application
The phase monitor is used to monitor the supply voltage of machines operated under unstable grid conditions. If a grid failure is imminent, the device detects it immediately and enables movements to stop or reverse in time to prevent damage to workpieces, tools, or system components.
For drives that can feed energy back into the grid (e.g., during braking), the phase monitor ensures that energy is only fed in when the supply voltage is correct, complete, and stable.
